Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use pdflabel.nl and the PDF Label app, whatever their eyesight, hearing, movement or way of reading.
Display settings on this site
Use Display settings at the top of every page to make the text larger, choose a dark or a light page, raise the contrast, underline links or stop things moving. What you choose is kept in this browser only.
The standard we follow
This website is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard that the European accessibility requirements (EN 301 549) refer to. It also follows the settings of your device: text size, dark or light, more contrast and less motion.
What that means here
- Everything works with a keyboard alone, and you can always see where you are.
- Screen readers find headings, landmarks, text for every picture, and the language of every text.
- Text can be enlarged to 200% and the page zoomed to 400% without anything getting lost.
- Text and controls meet the contrast minimums.
- No time limits, nothing that flashes, and nothing that plays by itself.
The app
The PDF Label app follows Android's own accessibility settings: font size, display size, TalkBack and removing animations. Every control has a name for TalkBack, the page under the frame can be moved and zoomed with TalkBack's actions, and every warning has a symbol as well as a colour.
Known limitations
- This site has been checked by us, not yet by an independent auditor.
